Community Efforts

At Sunbreak, we believe that true faith is manifested through action and service to our community. We are committed to making a positive impact by addressing the needs of those around us, whether through volunteer work, outreach programs, or partnerships with local organizations. Helping in the community allows us to live out our values of compassion, love, and support, fostering an environment where everyone feels valued and respected. By engaging with our neighbors and providing assistance to those in need, we strengthen the bonds within our community and create a brighter future for all. Together, we can be a force for good, reflecting the teachings of our faith in tangible and meaningful ways.

Sunbreak Cares Food Bank

35 For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. 36 I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.’

We offer a weekly food bank, where we offer food with zero barriers. Drive up and stay in your car while we load food into your trunk or back seat. We are open every Thursday morning at 9am and run until we are out of food. The mix of food that we are able to source changes constantly, so there is no telling what we might have for you this week :)

Community Events

At Sunbreak we try to stay involved in our community as much as possible. We serve at the local Elementary School, Horizons elementary, volunteering at social events as a helping hands partner. We also help out with the City of Lacey, serving wherever we can, handing out hot cocoa and doughnuts at social events.
