Sunbreak Church is pleased to announce that it has been officially recognized as host to an Extension Learning Center of the Texas Baptist Institute & Seminary, to be known as Sunbreak Learning Center.

Learning Centers are a location for credit and non-credit instruction that has been presented, approved, and recognized by Texas Baptist Inc. for the purpose of extending education beyond the main campus of TBI. They permit students opportunities to seek education for avocation or vocational ministry through access to face-to-face educational experiences offered at a location closer to their home and in a church facility.

The Bible Certificate Program completed through the Sunbreak Learning Center is structured as a two year program designed for the student to take at least one course in each of the three semesters (Fall, Spring and Summer) of the school year. Once a student completes 6 certificate courses, they are awarded a Bible Certificate.

There is provision made for a student desiring to move from Non-Degree Seeking (Bible Certificate) to Degree-Seeking, the person must apply for that standing with the institution. All forms and processes for the new admission standing must be completed. Grades and behavior during taking courses as a non-degree seeking may be used in the Degree-seeking standing.

BTH 1031C Christian Doctrines I

This is a study of God; His existence, His written revelation, His attributes, and His works. This is a study of the person and work of the Holy Spirit along with a study in spiritual warfare. The angels of God, Satan, and demons and their works of concern to the saints are studied.
