Dear Sunbreak Family,
We are beginning to see the “sun-break” in the clouds, when the sun shines through! It's been over a year since we first heard the words COVID-19: closures, schedule changes, masks, remote work and remote school. It’s been interesting, tough, sad, and yet inspirational too. Our church family has lost both relatives and friends to this disease over the past year. We are aware there could be more. However, hope rises out of the darkness. For that we are grateful; God is good!
We are thankful for your continued support as we have traversed this season with grace, love and compassion. It has been our sincere desire to travel this road in a Christ-like manner in all we do. We work hard to be respectful of all needs and health concerns while worshiping safely. We understand it has been hard at times. Thank you for your willingness to seek God, worship online or in-person and give. You are appreciated!
As you may be aware, June 30th brings more changes, Washington State is moving forward with re-opening. We are aware COVID-19 is still a dangerous disease to some. We are intent on protecting those most vulnerable in our church and community.
To meet your needs, for now:
- Please continue to RSVP for Sunday service to let us know you are coming, (this is not a requirement but does help us plan)
- We still will ask you to wear your mask, including those of our congregation that have been fully vaccinated.
- IF you are choosing to be vaccinated and have not done so, please do so soon, with the understanding that many of the restrictions and masks will be relaxed in the near future.
- If you are sick, please stay home and join us on-line.
We appreciate your patience and will keep you updated as changes are made. We love you. We are excited to move forward in serving you!
